In The Community
A church exists not for the sake of its members, but so that God can utilize those members to continue His work in the world. At Crosspointe, the importance of our everyday relationships is emphasized as the main arena in which God desires to use us to serve others where we live, work, study, and play. So we see ourselves as the church not just on Sunday morning, but throughout the entire week wherever we are and whatever we are doing.
As a church we also strive to maintain an active presence in the community so that God’s love can be shared and lives can be impacted. On a monthly basis we partner with two community organizations.
The Perry Center is a residential program for pregnant women and their children. We typically plan a fun activity or outing for the 4th Tuesday of each month.
The Dorothy Day Homeless Shelter in Moorhead, MN provides short-
term housing for men. We prepare and serve a meal on the 4th Friday of each month and eat with the men.
